This role involves overseeing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely payments, and improving financial controls. As part of its US expansion, XNRGY is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join its finance team.


Reporting to the VP of Corporate Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the full accounts payable function for the Mesa manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, strengthening financial controls, and driving process improvements as the organization continues to scale. The successful candidate will work closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams to support efficient vendor management and maintain strong financial governance within a fast-growing manufacturing environment.


*An overview of your responsibilities:**Manage the day-to-day accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments in accordance with company policies and payment term.Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, establishing clear processes, priorities, and performance expectations to support a high-performing finance function.Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and inquiries efficiently while ensuring a professional and responsive experience.Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes, implement best practices, and leverage ERP systems or automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements. Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation and controls within the accounts payable process.Oversee invoice matching, approval workflows, and payment scheduling to ensure compliance with contractual terms while optimizing cash flow management.Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure proper coding and documentation of transactions within the ERP system.
