Youth Environmental Advocates

Wildlife Conservation Society is seeking Youth Environmental Advocates in Kentucky. Applicants must be high school students, NYC residents, and interested in wildlife conservation and environmental policy. Responsibilities include demonstrating leadership potential and a commitment to sustainability. A background screening is required for those over 18. The position offers a $400 stipend and involves full-time work. An application requires references and responses to specific questions about environmental actions and aspirations.

Must be a high school student in good standingMust be a NYC residentYou are interested in supporting wildlife conservation programs and strengthening your skills as a youth leader.You are interested in understanding how environmental policy works and how it impacts communities.Must be eligible to work in the United StatesIf accepted, must successfully pass a background screening if 18+ years of age (provided by WCS)
What to expect on the application: The application will ask you to upload a resume, but this is not required. You DO NOT need to upload a cover letter. You will be asked to provide the name, email, and phone number of at least 1 reference. You will be asked to provide 100-200 word responses to the following long answer questions. Applicants who do not fully respond to these questions will not be considered.
