WHKS has an opportunity for a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to use their knowledge and skills in the design and management of water/wastewater projects in Iowa and surrounding states. Responsibilities Include

Oversee detailed studies, modeling, and design of wastewater collection, water distribution, and stormwater management systemsOversee and prepare evaluation reports for water and wastewater treatment facilitiesPrepare engineering plans, specifications and other contract documents for the design of water/wastewater systemsManage multi-discipline projects involving survey, civil, geotechnical, electrical/ mechanical, and structural teamsLead the production of design calculations and technical reportsOversee the quality control and budget management of projectsResearch issues related to water and wastewater that impact individual projectsInteract with governmental agencies for review and approval of projectsEffectively communicate with clients to develop strong relationships, review project needs, and secure contracts

Qualifications

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering5-15+ years of experience with water/wastewater systems designProfessional Engineer in Iowa or ability to obtain license within 6 months is preferredValid driver’s license
