Truck Driver - CDL (Class A) - Dry Van

TanTara Transportation Corp is hiring a Truck Driver - CDL (Class A) for Midwest Regional Dry Van routes. Drivers are guaranteed home every weekend and can earn between $60k and $78k annually. Pay starts at .55CPM, increasing to .65CPM after 2,500 miles. Requirements include a Class A CDL, current medical card, and at least 6 months of OTR experience. Job Description:
TanTara's Midwest Regional Dry Van drivers are guaranteed home every weekend. Pay is .55CPM for the first 2,499 miles, but once 2,500 miles is hit, all miles going forward, and back to mile 1 are paid at .65CPM. Mostly hauls 265 gallon totes/drums/barrels from Bayer, food-grade product from Kent, and glass from DeWitt. TanTara's Company Dry Van drivers made between $60k and $78k last year.

Be home every weekend, Midwest Regional which consists of IA, IN, IL, OH, MO, NE, TN, NC, SC, GA, KA, and sometimes TX. Dispatch's goal is to get the driver out and back to the area 5 times/week, then routed home Friday evening-Sunday evening. Drivers who prefer to take extra loads may work with Dispatch to do so, however, weekend loads are not required. Equipment: Trucks are 2019 or newer. Freightliner Coronado with a glider kit. 10 speed. Freightliner Cascadia 13 speed.

Peterbilt 579 13 speed. All trucks governed at 70. mini refrigerator. Double Bunked for more storage.

Very CLEAN. ELD, elog-Isaac system (tablets). Driver uses their own GPS. TV mounts.

Job Requirements:
• Class A CDL
• Current med card
• Tanker Endorsement
• Able to drive manual truck
• 6 months + OTR experience
• Securement knowledge/experience
• Live inside Midwest regional hiring area (IA, IL, IN, MO)

Wage Range: 0.55 - 0.65 per mile
