Vistry Group is offering a Construction Traineeship starting September 2026 in Chelmsford, UK. The role involves assisting in project delivery, focusing on health, safety, and environmental standards while gaining hands-on experience towards a Level 4 apprenticeship. Candidates should have 4 GCSEs (including Maths and English), a Level 3 qualification, and a genuine interest in construction. The position is site-based with potential changes in location.
In a Nutshell
We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Trainee to join Vistry. Starting from September 2026, as a Construction Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting with and gaining experience of the successful delivery of the project in terms of health, safety and environmental standards, programme, budget, time, quality, design, technical and customer service.


You will effectively help to control and learn about all site-based activities in line with specific development requirements, company policies and procedures. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience while working towards a higher Level 4 apprenticeship to further develop your skills and knowledge.


The site location for this Construction Trainee is anticipated to be in Rayleigh
