Disability Solutions is hiring a tenure-track assistant professor for US History and Environmental History in Cincinnati, OH. About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our team as a tenure-track assistant professor of United States history and environmental history. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of undergraduate history courses, creating courses, and engaging in ongoing professional development and research.
Main Responsibilities
• Develop and teach undergraduate history courses that meet the needs of our diverse student body.
• Create innovative courses that incorporate technology and meet the standards of the Quality Matters rubric.
• Conduct research in history or the scholarship of teaching and learning.
• Participate in service duties such as participating in the governance and committee work of the department, college, and university.
Qualifications
• A PhD in History or a closely related field.
• Four courses of collegiate level History teaching experience.
• Experience teaching one environmental history course at the collegiate level or one publication or presentation in the area of environmental history.
