About the position

The Talent Consultant II role at Bank of America is focused on leading enterprise-wide talent development and organizational design solutions. This position supports senior business leaders in identifying strategies linked to organizational goals and implementing leadership solutions across the business. The consultant will work closely with Global Talent, Global Human Resources, and various stakeholders to execute talent processes and provide consultative support for talent development initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Partner with business and HR leaders to design and deliver talent management strategies and development plans.

• Lead, design, and implement key leadership development processes and HR initiatives such as talent and succession planning, performance management, and organizational design.

• Execute talent management strategy and organizational design across local, regional, and enterprise teams while ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Provide consultative support and coaching to leaders focused on promoting and developing diverse talent.
,
• Maximize business outcomes by implementing strategic talent solutions using quantitative and qualitative data.
,
• Partner with control functions to mitigate people risk and communicate talent processes to stakeholders.
,
• Drive learning strategy and programs for client organizations, collaborating with learning consultants.
,
• Consult with leaders on organizational change, assessing operating model and org design effectiveness.

• Serve in an advisory role for horizontal initiatives across Global Markets and/or Research organizations.

Requirements
• Minimum of 8+ years' experience in Learning or Program Development, Leadership Development, Organization Development, HR Generalist, or relevant HR specialist experience.

• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to consult and influence senior leaders globally.

• Experience interfacing with seasoned leaders at the MTM 1 and/or 2 deep level.

• Demonstrated conceptual thinking with effective program and project management skills.

• Sound judgment and strong written and verbal communication skills.
,
• Proven ability to build and leverage positive relationships with peers and clients.

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

• Strong bias for action and ability to drive work to completion.

• Technical proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Nice-to-haves
• BS/BA in relevant areas such as Organizational Development or I/O Psychology; equivalent experience may be considered.
