Supply Chain Manager

Yoh is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for a Biotech client in Maryland Heights, MO. The role involves developing supply chain strategies, improving efficiency, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and analyzing performance metrics. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in purchasing and vendor management, preferably in a regulated environment. This position is not remote and offers a salary range of $120,000 to $130,000.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sustainable supply chain strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Design and implement new processes and procedures to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Coach and lead the purchasing organization to identify and seek out cost reduction opportunities.
• Lead the selection and manage relationships with suppliers and partners. Monitor the performance of suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost factors, and take corrective action when necessary.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics, such as inventory levels, cost, delivery times, and quality to evaluate performance of supply chain and identify areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as production, sales, product management and customer service to ensure accurate forecasting and planning of material flow, and to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the supply chain.
• Proactively monitor and manage risks, such as supplier dependencies or regulatory changes, to maintain continuity and resilience in the supply chain.
Qualifications andSkills:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in?a senior purchasing and vendor management role.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing strategies to deliver improved supplier performance in global organization.
• Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of purchasing in global business environment, experience in life science or related business is plus.
• Experience with Industry standard ERP systems.
• Understanding and experience of regulated and ISO certified business environment.
