Job Description

The U.S. Pacific Fleet is hiring a Supervisory Environmental Protection Specialist in San Diego, CA. The role requires at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level, focusing on environmental protection advisory services and program effectiveness in shipyard operations. The position does not require a formal degree and is a full-time role.
You will serve as a Supervisory Environmental Protection Specialist in the Environment, Safety, and Health Department C106 of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing environmental protection advisory or oversight services by resolving complex issues (e.g., improving operating policies; assessing program effectiveness) to plan project or program activities for a shipyard environmental protection program .
