Site Logistics Officer

INTEC Energy Solutions is hiring a Site Logistics Officer for the Woolooga BESS Project in Wondunna, Australia. The role involves managing on-site logistics, inventory, and material handling, ensuring compliance and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers. We are seeking a skilled Logistics Officer to manage on-site logistics, inventory, and material handling for the Woolooga BESS Project. You’ll ensure efficient operations, compliance, and seamless coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Oversee logistics laydown, track incoming stock via sea and land Manage truck unloading and scheduling, ensuring timely and accurate stock distribution to subcontractors while coordinating with vendors and transport teams.Perform warehouse and tool store duties, oversee forklifts, trucks, lighting plants, and generators, and ensure proper handling and maintenance of any hired equipment.Maintain strict safety standards for logistics activities, ensuring full compliance with project regulations and environmental guidelines.Facilitate daily subcontractor coordination and participate in weekly management meetings to ensure smooth operations.Oversee site waste management, manage financial decision-making within budget authority, and provide regular reporting on logistics performance.

Qualifications and experience: LF Forklift Truck, High-Risk Forklift License, QLD White Card, Dogman’s Ticket, HR Truck License, Telehandlers licence and EWP Ticket.2-5 years in logistics coordination, with experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, and front-end loaders (preferred).Understanding of Queensland transport and shipping regulations, along with WHS standards for material handling.Strong ability to manage stock, scheduling, and logistics coordination, with familiarity in inventory management systems (advantageous).Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams, ensuring smooth operations
