Senior Sustainability Engineer

Talentsis is seeking a Senior Sustainability Engineer in Singapore to develop and promote sustainability goals, manage reporting systems, and collaborate on key performance indicators. The role requires 1 to 3 years of experience in sustainability or environmental engineering, knowledge of relevant standards, and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, supporting green projects, and educating stakeholders on sustainability practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and promote corporate and data center sustainability goals, ensuring alignment with both financial and environmental objectives. Design, implement, and manage systems to streamline sustainability reporting and information sharing, ensuring accuracy and impact. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to set and achieve key performance indicators related to sustainability initiatives. Stay informed about current best practices in corporate responsibility, energy efficiency, sustainability reporting, and environmental management. Conduct sustainability assessments and implement strategies to reduce carbon footprints, energy consumption, and waste production. Provide guidance on sustainability standards and certifications, including BCA Green Mark, SS564 Green Data Centre, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and other local and international frameworks. Support the design and execution of green building and energy efficiency projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards. Educate and engage employees and stakeholders on sustainability practices to foster a culture of environmental responsibility. Prepare and present sustainability reports and recommendations to management.

Key Qualifications:

1 to 3 years of working experience in sustainability, environmental engineering, or related fields. Knowledge of local and international sustainability standards such as BCA Green Mark, SS564, and ISO 14001. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in sustainability reporting tools and methodologies. Passionate about environmental conservation and sustainability, with a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and best practices. Experience with energy audits, green building certification processes, or environmental impact assessments. Familiarity with data analysis tools and software for sustainability metrics. Certification in sustainability or environmental management is a plus.
