Ebsford Environmental Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Consultant for their Invasive Vegetation, Biodiversity, and Blue Green Infrastructure Division in Castleford, UK. The role involves leading client projects, conducting advanced surveys, and mentoring junior consultants. We are looking for a Senior Project Consultant to drive growth, lead complex client projects, and play a key role in shaping the future of our Invasive Vegetation, Biodiversity, and Blue Green Infrastructure Division.
As an experienced Senior Project Consultant you will be joining our flexible, multi skilled team where you will combine business development, client leadership and strategic thinking to deliver profitable, high quality projects.
You will need to work independently and as part of a team with exceptional standards and a genuine enthusiasm for improving the environment.
What we need from you.
Lead tender processes and contract submissions, collaborating across business units.
Provide senior oversight of client relationships from enquiry to project completion.
Conduct advanced surveys including invasive species assessments and technical site evaluations.
Produce high-level proposals, reports, GIS outputs, management plans and contribute to strategic development.
Support negotiations on pricing, deliverables and project specifications.
Mentor project/junior consultants, providing guidance and quality assurance.
Identify business growth opportunities and support organisational development initiatives.
Gathering market and customer information.
Maintain internal systems in order to accurately reflect prospects and contracts.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure accurate scope, delivery alignment and cost control.
It is essential that you have:
Extensive experience in project consultancy or environmental contracting
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Strong IT capability and commercial analytical and reporting skills
Experience of carrying out surveys to produce accurate and concise reports
Degree in Environmental Management or related disciplines
Experience in invasive species management
CSJK Surveyor qualification
Full UK Driving Licence
Knowledge of biodiversity and habitat creation
Excellent knowledge of plants and identification skill

This is a full time, permanent position with 28 days annual leave, pro rata (incl. Bank Holidays).
