Architecturevogue is seeking a Senior Passive House Architect in Bodmin, UK. The ideal candidate is a RIBA-qualified architect with at least five years of UK experience, specializing in sustainable, low-energy residential architecture and Certified Passive House design. Key skills include proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and project management across RIBA stages. Are you an experienced, RIBA-qualified Architect with a passion for sustainability and Passive House design? We have an exciting opportunity for a Certified Passive House Architect to become part of our multi-award-winning, friendly, and collaborative team based in Mid Cornwall.

At ARCO2, we specialise in low-energy, sustainable residential architecture, creating bespoke new and replacement homes in some of Cornwall’s most stunning coastal and rural locations. Our projects are primarily delivered through our award-winning sister company, ADD SC, or the client’s preferred contractor.

We’re looking for a like-minded architect who shares our ethical values and deep commitment to environmental sustainability. You’ll bring strong technical expertise, particularly in post-planning stages of Certified Passive House and low-energy residential projects, along with a minimum of five years’ post-Part III experience within a UK practice—essential for detailed knowledge of UK planning and building regulations.

Key Skills & Experience: Certified Passive House Designer with certified PHPP experience Proven experience in whole-life carbon calculations using PHribbon, WLCA, or AECB Embodied Carbon Calculator Competent in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications Experience with 3D printing desirable Demonstrable ability to manage and deliver projects across all RIBA stages Strong interpersonal skills and experience building client and stakeholder relationships Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines We’re looking for someone with genuine passion and flair for sustainable design, who takes pride in creating innovative, beautiful homes with a light environmental footprint.
