GFT is seeking a Project Manager for Water and Wastewater in East Brunswick, NJ, following a hybrid model that requires regular office attendance. GFT is on the lookout for a Project Manager for Water and Wastewater to join our dynamic Practice or CBG Team! This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at the office in either Marlton, NJ or East Brunswick, NJ.

Your Challenges as a Project Manager

As a Project Manager for Water and Wastewater, your responsibilities will include driving business development, managing projects, and leading integrated teams to meet client expectations regarding scope, schedule, budget, and quality—all while boosting our project backlog, revenue, and profitability.

Your clients may span various locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and you must be prepared to travel periodically to support GFT's clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead project teams in the planning, design, and construction administration of municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure facilities.Engage with clients through presentations and project coordination.Coordinate the work of technical staff and consultants, ensuring adherence to standards, leading progress meetings, and tracking project schedules and budgets.Communicate efficiently with municipalities and governmental regulating agencies.Prepare comprehensive reports and permit applications.Oversee project development from design to construction contract management.Supervise and mentor junior engineers.Exhibit strong professional technical writing and verbal communication skills.Actively participate in the water/wastewater engineering community.Your Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.At least 10 years of experience in water/wastewater, specifically in the design of infrastructure projects.Professional Engineer License (PE) is required.Experience in the evaluation, design, and construction management of treatment facilities and distribution systems.Demonstrated ability in project management, including budget and schedule oversight.Strong client relations and business development experience.A collaborative leader with excellent organizational skills.Exceptional written and spoken communication capabilities.Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or BIM software.Compensation: The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $180,000, commensurate with experience and geographic location.
