Program Planner

Pocono Environmental Education Center seeks a Program Planner for its Education Department in Dingmans Ferry, PA, for the 2024 season. The role involves connecting visitors with nature and requires excellent people skills and attention to detail. Experience in environmental education or related fields is preferred but not necessary. This is a full-time position aimed at supporting over 25,000 annual visitors.
PEEC is looking to hire a Program Planner to join our Education Department as we start preparing for our 2024 season. Located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation, PEEC is one of only a handful of residential environmental education centers situated on National Park property in the country. Join our small but mighty team of staff who serve over 25,000 annual visitors to continue a legacy of more than 50 years of inspiring awe and wonder for the natural world.

Interested individuals should have a passion for the outdoors and a desire to connect others with nature. Experience in environmental education, camp, recreation or related fields is desired, but not required. An ideal candidate would possess excellent people and record keeping skills, time management, and be very detail oriented.
