Our client is a leading global investment manager with a distinguished track record. This presents an opportunity to be a key figure within the newly established special opportunities investment team, based in Abu Dhabi.

The role will be instrumental in driving new investments, overseeing the entire deal lifecycle from origination to managing a specific portfolio of assets.
• Drive the identification process for potential opportunities, sourcing and screening new investments from origination to close.
• Act as a day-to-day asset manager for portfolio assets, shaping and developing the strategy.
• Build and manage relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Oversee direct reports to ensure effective and efficient process management.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, while proactively identifying opportunities for both personal and team development.

We are seeking an experienced investment professional from a leading investment bank, special opportunities investment team, private equity / special opportunities team or asset management firm.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end deal origination and across the capital structure in complex situations.
• Deep industry knowledge across a variety of financial instruments.
• Strong ability to manage, develop and mentor junior team members.
• Demonstrate versatile communication skills and the ability to adapt effectively to suit the specific needs and preferences of various audiences.
