About Our Client

Our client, a leading international private equity investor, is looking for an ESG Executive to join its ESG team on a maternity cover contract. The role will support the existing team with a focus on supporting portfolio companies on sustainability focused value creation plans and working closely with investment teams throughout the pre-investment phase.

What the job involves
• The role is a maternity cover contract within the ESG team. The candidate will play a key role in delivering the firm's ESG strategy and supporting the existing team
• Working with portfolio companies on sustainability value creation and exit preparation
• Supporting the pre-investment phase including applying the firm's ESG framework on new opportunities and working with deal teams to scope and run ESG due diligence
• Supporting with evidencing progress against the firm's sustainability targets including firm-wide targets
• Support with portfolio company monitoring, data collection and LP sustainability requests as required
