Natural Hair Loss Serum Formulation/Formulator/Chemist Needed Long Term for Eco Friendly Brand

We are seeking an experienced and creative natural beauty product formulator to help us develop skin and hair care products on a continuous bases. Our forecasted need is around 1 new formula per month but this number will go up and down with demand.

Please provide us two fees for what you would charge to...

1. Develop a hair loss serum formula from scratch including cited scientific sources for best ingredients, production instructions, physical samples for 3 rounds of feedback, stability/expiration testing, and evaluation of factory production samples.

2. Develop a moisturizer formula from scratch including cited scientific sources for best ingredients, production instructions, physical samples for 3 rounds of feedback, stability/expiration testing, and evaluation of factory production samples.

2. Develop a variation for an existing moisturizer including production instruction modification (if needed), physical samples for 1-2 rounds of feedback (or as needed), stability/expiration testing, and evaluation of factory production samples.

Has a deep understanding of natural ingredients/essential oils, their benefits, and how to effectively combine them to create safe, effective, and premium non-toxic skincare products.

Scope of work:

One of our existing moisturizers needs 2-3 variations by early January. We also have new product ideas that needs to be designed from scratch. Target date for that is mid to late March. We'll try things out with these first few. If results are good, we are looking for a longer term partnership.

Responsibilities:

Provide expertise on the latest trends in natural ingredients and product formulation techniques.

Develop formulas/recipes for a range of skincare products including creams, serums, and cleansers using natural and organic ingredients.

Collaborate with us to create formulas based on market needs and production requirements.

Create formulas with specific recipes, instructions, and production steps.

Produce physical samples for company and customer feedback.

Conduct stability and expiry testing.

Ensure that all products meet safety and quality standards.

Evaluate and approve production samples.

If needed, provide guidance to factories in preproduction phases.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in cosmetic formulation, specifically with natural products.

Strong knowledge of cosmetic industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
