Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Manufacturing and Shipping Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is primarily hands-on and involves the fabrication of greenhouse components using steel tubing and aluminum. The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture greenhouse components by bending, punching, cutting, and drilling steel tubing and aluminum according to engineering drawings and blueprintsRead and interpret engineering documents, specifications, and measurements accuratelyOperate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safelyPerform inventory counts and track materialsOrganize materials and finished goods for efficient retrieval and shipmentPrepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company standardsVerify shipping documents for accuracy and schedule pickups/deliveries with carriersReceive, inspect, and document incoming materialsLoad and unload trucks safely and efficientlyDocument damaged materials and report discrepanciesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facilityPerform other job duties as requiredQualifications & Skills

Previous manufacturing experience requiredStrong mechanical and technical aptitudeAbility to read and follow engineering drawings and instructionsForklift operation experience preferred (or willingness to become certified)Welding certification desired, but not required (the welding portion of the job is limited)Strong attention to detail, organization, and qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to continuously lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to accurately read a tape measure and work with precise measurementsDependable, safety-conscious, and quality-focused mindsetPreferred (but not required)

Experience in metal fabrication or structural manufacturingWelding certification desired, but not requiredBackground check and drug test required.

Pay: Pay is negotiable and is based on experience and the ability to excel in the position
