Beveridge Williams is seeking a Senior or Licensed Surveyor with at least 5 years of experience to join their Geelong office. The role involves conducting various surveys, managing projects, and liaising with clients and councils. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and strong customer service and communication skills. Beveridge Williams is an employee owned multi-disciplinary environment and development consultancy renowned for its expertise in civil engineering, traffic & transport engineering, surveying, town planning, urban design, water resource engineering, environmental engineering and landscape architecture. We have 13 offices across Victoria and New South Wales and employ over 400 staff.

With a large variety of projects, we are seeking an experienced Senior or Licensed Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant industry experience to join our team in Geelong.

As a Senior Surveyor in this role you will be involved in:
• Undertaking Cadastral and Re-establishment Surveys
• Compiling Survey plans
• Subdivisions
• Lease area surveys
• Providing Geodetic and local survey control
• Asset Recording – sewer, water and A-Spec
• Feature and Level surveys
• Engineering surveys – Engineering / Building set out, monitoring volume surveys, level and estate control
• Drafting and checking cadastral and survey plans
• Financial monitoring and management of large projects
• Liaise with Clients/Councils as appropriate to ensure sound project management
• Preparation of planning and certification submissions to Council
• Preparation and supply of documentation to Land Registry
• To advise the Engineer or appropriate Manager of any problems encountered in obtaining information
• Liaise with existing and potential clients
• Reviewing workload and resourcing

Required Skills and Experience:
• 5 years’ minimum experience in land surveying
• Degree or relevant Qualification in Surveying, Bachelor of Surveying would be advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to communicate and negotiate at different levels
• Ability to use a range of computer software applications relevant to the role
• Strong service ethic and high level of integrity
