We’re looking for a North Carolina Licensed Electrician to join our growing team. This role will handle installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and supervision of electrical work on residential and commercial solar projects.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components for solar PV projects.Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.Ensure NEC, state, and local code compliance on all projects.Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical issues; verify system functionality.Document repairs, installations, and service details.Mentor apprentices and guide 8MSolar staff on advanced troubleshooting.Review work and pricing to ensure fairness and quality.
Qualifications

Valid NC Electrician License (Limited minimum, Intermediate or Unlimited preferred).Strong working knowledge of NEC and safety codes.Skilled with testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing, and kneeling as needed.Valid NC driver’s license & reliable transportation.Ability to work occasional overtime.Company Description8MSolar is the highest rated solar panel installer in North Carolina and surrounding states.
