Solar Detach & Reset is looking for an experienced Solar Service Technician who specializes in solar panel and inverter troubleshooting. This role handles diagnosing system issues, performing repairs, and ensuring safe, high-quality service for homeowners and roofing partners.


Responsibilities



Diagnose and repair solar panel, inverter, and wiring issues
Troubleshoot optimizer, microinverter, and string inverter problems
Perform system checks, safety inspections, and repair documentation
Replace damaged components (panels, wiring, breakers, conduit, optimizers)
Complete photos/notes in Housecall Pro
Communicate findings with homeowners
Work safely on all roof types

Requirements



3+ years service experience
Strong inverter troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working on roofs
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Preferred



Roofing or electrical experience
Experience with Enphase/SolarEdge systems
