AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Lead Environment Consultant in Noida, India, to lead environmental planning projects, including EIAs and EMS implementation. The role requires 12+ years of experience and a postgraduate degree in an environmental field. Responsibilities include project management, technical support, client engagement, and mentoring. OverviewWe are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in this role in AtkinsRéalis Global Technology Centre (GTC); you will collaborate with multidisciplinary technical specialists and contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects.

Your roleLeading and coordinating planning and environmental consenting projects, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) processes and the implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

Provide technical support across environmental services, including Net Zero, ESG, Sustainable land resources, Ecology, and Biodiversity.

Act as a Technical lead on projects, ensuring high-quality delivery.

Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.

Manage projects, including budgets, programmes, and resourcing.

Mentor and support junior team members.

About youPostgraduate degree qualified in an environmental or related discipline.

12+ years' experience in leading and coordinating planning and environmental consenting, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) processes and the implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

Passionate, proactive, and enthusiastic about environmental sustainability.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and maintain technical excellence.

Strong analytical and report-writing skills.

Experience in preparing bids or tenders.

Proven experience delivering projects from the bid stage through to completion.

Membership of a relevant professional body or working towards Chartered RTPI/IES/IEMA/Environmentalist/Scientist status (or equivalent).

Desirable Skills: Experience using digital and spatial tools, including ArcGIS, QGIS, Power BI, and spatial modelling platforms.
