Sourceo is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance Lead in Singapore. The role involves developing and executing safety policies, ensuring compliance with laws, and promoting a safety culture. Responsibilities include managing workplace safety laws, coordinating with government agencies, conducting audits, and providing EHS training. Join Our Client as a HSE Compliance Leader
We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the development and execution of safety, health, and environmental policies across our operations. This role involves collaborating closely with leadership and staff to promote a robust safety culture and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations. The position is based in Kaki Bukit, Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with senior management to guarantee that safety, health, and environmental standards are met, aligning with legal and industry requirements.
Manage compliance with workplace safety laws, including the WSH Act, and ensure all safety practices are up to date and effective.
Serve as a representative for national security initiatives, risk management, working at heights, and other specialized safety roles as needed.
Coordinate with government agencies such as MOM, NEA, HSA, LTA, PUB, and SCDF on all EHS-related matters.
Design, implement, and regularly review the EHS Management System to maintain high standards and legal compliance.
Set clear safety objectives and communicate them across teams, tracking progress and outcomes to foster continuous improvement.
Identify training gaps and deliver targeted EHS education to enhance staff awareness and competence.
Conduct internal audits, analyze gaps, and recommend corrective actions to uphold standards aligned with ISO certifications and local safety regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation of all EHS activities, ensuring the system remains current and compliant.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
A degree in Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
Specialist diploma or certification in WSH or equivalent qualifications.
Registered WSH Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower and ECO with the National Environment Agency.
At least five years of relevant experience, particularly in construction, infrastructure, or building projects.
Strong knowledge of Singapore’s safety and environmental laws and regulations.
Proactive, organized, and capable of working under tight deadlines, including shift work if necessary.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
