Job Description

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) seeks a Fulfillment and Logistics Supervisor in Holyoke, MA, to oversee order fulfillment operations in a cannabis manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include ensuring product quality, maintaining inventory integrity, training employees, and coordinating with sales and transportation. The role requires hands-on supervision on the plant floor, with a focus on achieving performance goals and compliance with safety regulations. A minimum of 5 years in production and 2 years in a supervisory role is required.
We are looking for an experienced Order Fulfillment Supervisor to oversee and support the order fulfillment operations in our cannabis manufacturing facility. You will be the one to ensure product quality standards and inventory integrity are maintained for your department. The production supervision duties are mostly hands-on and direct in nature and require substantial time be spent on the plant floor working closely and directly with all production employees.

ResponsibilitiesWork cooperatively with sales to receive orders through tracking system (LeafTrade)Train and develop a high performing teamOrganize employees to pull orders and validate 100% accuracyConfirm products' unit counts and compliance labels match dispensary manifests, ensuring no rejections nor complaints from customersMaintain inventory reports, and inventory alignment between BioTrack and LeafTradeDevelop, implement, and maintain quality systems to ensure these standards are metWork cooperatively with the Transportation Supervisor to assure alignment between Order Fulfillment and transportationComplete and submit required reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually or as neededConduct weekly finished product inventory audits, reconciling and investigating discrepanciesPlan & Schedule each day to support sales and inventory requirementsUnderstand and meet daily, weekly, monthly, & annual goalsTrain employees to identify quality issues in real time, achieve production rates, complete vault Inventories, and conduct essential state traceability program functionsEnsure employees’ success regarding quality and productivityParticipate in employee hiring; terminations; discipline; writing & delivering performance evaluationsIdentify and implement process improvementsHelp create a positive environment by having a positive attitude and by being self-motivatedEstablish fulfillment goals, monitor/track employee performance, and provide regular 1x1 performance feedback to help the employee succeedEnsure employees are following all safety and operating procedures, and GTI policiesWorking ConditionsWork involves daily exposure to allergens (such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil).Qualifications5+ years’ experience in a production environment, 2+ years in supervisory capacity requiredHigh school diploma or GED required; BSc/BA preferredExperience in directing and evaluating subordinatesHighly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulnessAdapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environmentOperates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential informationExcellent organizational and communication skillsKnowledge in Continuous improvement, ex. Kaizen, Gemba WalksEmployee must exhibit competency in basic organizational and communication skills.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees.Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green ThumbAdditional RequirementsMust pass any and all required background checksMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryMust possess valid driver’s licenseMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageMust be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industryCreate a Job Alert
