Job Description
Wholly H2O is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan and execute community events focused on water education in the SF Bay Area. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, experience in event planning, and a passion for environmental stewardship. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, managing registrations, and conducting post-event evaluations. The position requires a commitment of 2-5 hours per week for at least 6 months.
Our water and watershed-positive educational programs engage Californians in community and citizen science, art, and green infrastructure education. Wholly H2O hosts community events and develops educational programs to engage Californians in citizen science, art exhibitions, and green infrastructure.

Our educational programs are tailored to enliven curiosity, knowledge, and yes, even stewardship for California watersheds. We engage people directly in community science, watershed tours, and art. We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our team.
Job Description As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events. Your main objective will be to ensure seamless event operations and create memorable experiences for our participants. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for event management.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with external contractors and venues, if necessary, to secure necessary services and equipment.Develop the event description.Oversee the publication and event outreach.Manage event registration and attendee communications.Oversee event logistics, including waivers, handouts, audiovisual equipment and insurance.Conduct post-event evaluations and gather participant feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Previous experience in event planning and coordination desireable.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.Proficient in Google Suite.
