Environmental Technician

Gove Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Wetland Scientist / Field Technician in Exeter, NH. The role involves conducting wetland delineations, vernal pool surveys, and data management. Candidates should have over 3 years of experience in wetland delineation and proficiency in ACOE methods. A NH Certified Wetland Scientist is not required. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $50K–$70K.
We are seeking an experienced Wetland Scientist / Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wetland delineation and related natural resource fieldwork. Familiarity with wetland permitting in New Hampshire or other Northeast states is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct wetland delineations following US Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) methods and criteria
• Perform vernal pool surveys and assessments
• Collect, manage, and document field data
• Assist staff with soil mapping and test pit observation
• Support miscellaneous field and office tasks as needed

Qualifications:

✔ NH Certified Wetland Scientist (CWS) is NOT required to apply
✔ 3+ years of experience in wetland delineation
✔ Proficiency in ACOE Wetland Delineation methods, hydric soil indicators, and wetland plant identification
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
