Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and guidelines.
Developing and implementing environmental management plans and programs to reduce Union Pacific Railroad's environmental impact.
Providing environmental expertise and guidance to other departments within the company to promote sustainable practices and reduce environmental risks.
Monitoring and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and track progress towards environmental goals.
Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
Conducting thorough investigations and risk assessments to identify potential environmental hazards and develop solutions to mitigate them.
Developing and delivering training programs to educate employees on environmental policies and procedures.
Staying up-to-date with changing environmental regulations and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Managing and maintaining records of environmental data, reports, and permits.
Promoting a culture of environmental responsibility and sustainability throughout the organization.
