Role Overview:

Arsdale Enviro is looking for an experienced and self-driven Environmental Consultant to join our team. This position offers the flexibility to work from home, with regular travel required to project sites throughout the New York/New Jersey region. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in environmental consulting, specifically in conducting Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). This role is focused on report writing and conducting environmental assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), including site visits, interviews, data collection, and sampling.
• Prepare detailed technical reports summarizing ESA findings, risk assessments, and remediation recommendations.
• Analyze soil, groundwater, and air samples for contamination, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage environmental compliance documents, including permits, regulatory submissions, audits, and due diligence assessments.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, oversee field teams, and travel regularly to project sites across New York/New Jersey to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in environmental consulting, specifically Phase 1 and Phase 2 ESAs.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical writing and report preparation. Knowledge of environmental sampling and regulatory compliance.
• Field Experience: Ability to perform site inspections and environmental sampling in varying conditions.
• Travel: Willing to travel regularly to project sites in NY/NJ. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for professional interaction with clients, colleagues, and regulatory agencies.

• OSHA 30/10
• NYS ACM/Mold
• SST

We are a start-up environmental consulting firm looking for a Sr. Field Scientist/Jr. PM with 5-7 years of experience. HAZWOPER and supervisor are a must. Right now, our main focus is due diligence so a lot of Phase I/II. Experience with Parcel/Scriva is a bonus. The position is a mix of field and office.
