The State of Nebraska is seeking an Environmental Health Scientist I to conduct inspections for food safety and sanitation at various facilities, including schools and recreational sites. Job Summary
We are looking for an Environmental Health Scientist I to join the Environmental Safety Program at the Nebraska Department of Environment & Energy. The successful candidate will conduct inspections for food safety and sanitation at Schools, Senior Centers, and Child Care Centers, and assist in inspections and compliance activities for Swimming Pools, Mobile Home Parks, Recreational Camps, Wells, and Septic Systems.


Location
Statewide, NE. Service counties: Lincoln, Dawson, Frontier, Red Willow, Buffalo, Perkins, Chase, Hayes, Dundy, Hitchcock, Gosper, Furnas.


Salary / Compensation
$20.575
