Environmental Health Safety Specialist

ENGIE South East Asia is seeking an Environmental Health Safety Specialist in Singapore. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, preparing reports, managing safety documentation, leading training programs, and investigating incidents. Candidates should have a diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of EHS experience, and relevant certifications. The role is full-time and focuses on enhancing workplace safety and health.
Responsibilities

Conduct regular safety inspections of site activities, materials, tools, and workspaces to ensure compliance with MOM safety requirements.Monitor and ensure that all workers adhere to MOM regulations and safety protocols.Prepare monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessments, Method of Statements, and Permit to Work statistics.Oversee and manage all documentation, permits, and licenses related to workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance.Conduct daily toolbox meetings to address safety concerns, reinforce safe work practices, and communicate important safety information.Investigate accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees to enhance safety awareness and knowledge.



Requirements



Diploma / GCE O Levels or equivalentAt least 3 years experience in EHS capacity of work, preferably in the construction industryRegistered WSH Officer with MOMRegistered ECO with NEAFamiliarity with OSHA regulations and safety management systems
