Job Description
CACI is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist in Orlando, FL, responsible for managing safety and compliance operations. The role involves participating in safety inspections, maintaining hazardous waste disposal, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The position requires local travel (up to 25%) to support other facilities in Florida. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in health and safety compliance and knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.

CACI is seeking a Regional Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist responsible for building the safety culture and managing day to day safety and compliance operations for CACI in Florida. Most of the responsibilities will be done at out Orlando facility with occasional travel (10-25%) supporting Melbourne, Tampa Bay and Sarasota.
Responsibilities:
• Participates in the laser laboratory compliance inspection program
• Performs routine laser laboratory onsite safety assessments
• Ensures laser use environment meets ANSI regulatory requirements and other applicable standards, and recommends appropriate control measures
• Maintains the site hazardous waste disposal location
• Approves, maintains and inventories of on-site chemicals and hazardous waste
• Produces, reports and maintains records as appropriate
• Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously and meet assigned deadlines
• Perform other related job functions as assigned
• Abide by federal, state and local laws, CACI rules and regulations, policies and procedures
Qualifications:
• 2 + years practical experience with health and safety compliance at a large global company with world class safety programs
• Detailed knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and their state equivalents as well as other applicable industry environmental, health, and safety standards
• Proficiency in conducting root cause safety investigations
• Demonstrated ability to manage federal, state and local regulatory compliance
• Demonstrated ability to effectively and thoroughly audit facilities as well as assist in addressing audit findings
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a reliable automobile
• Must be a US citizen

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$52,300-$107,200
