Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe’re currently seeking an Environmental Field Technician to support environmental monitoring and site operations field work primarily in the greater Southwest Virginia and Northwestern North Carolina area. This is a hands-on, field-based role for someone who has environmental fieldwork, mechanical systems, and site operations experience.

Responsibilities:

Perform discharge water sampling and monitoring in accordance with project scopes and regulatory protocols.Conduct routine site inspections and document site conditions.Support operation and minor maintenance of on-site pumps and environmental equipment.Assist with equipment checks, troubleshooting, and basic mechanical upkeep.Receive and manage material deliveries at project sites.Perform general site maintenance tasks, including light landscaping and tractor operation.Maintain detailed and accurate field notes, inspection logs, and sampling records.Follow GES safety protocols and participate in required safety training.Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, or a related field.
