What You'll Do

In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise and leadership to:
• Provide actionable guidance on environmental protection and compliance issues to teams across all levels-Headquarters, regional, and field managers.
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental regulations that impact businesses and industries.
• Conduct cost analyses and prepare insightful reports on the economic impact of environmental programs.
• Manage communication programs to educate teams on environmental regulations and policies.
• Monitor and audit compliance through data-driven program assessments, ensuring alignment with laws and organizational goals.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies to address compliance issues and negotiate effective solutions.
• Deliver presentations to senior leadership, sharing findings and recommendations on environmental strategies.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of experience, knowledge, and passion for environmental compliance:
• Experience: At least six years of professional experience in environmental compliance.
• Education:
• A Bachelor's or graduate degree in Environmental Sciences or Engineering, OR
• A graduate degree in Law or Business Administration, combined with at least six years of environmental compliance experience.
• Expertise: A comprehensive understanding of environmental laws such as the Resource Conservation Recovery Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and more.
• Skills: Strong project management abilities, including planning, budgeting, and delivering on time.

Preferred Skills
• Experience in industries like postal service, logistics, or transportation is a plus.
