Entry Level Solar Technician Installer

Lightwave Solar is seeking an Entry Level Solar Technician Installer in Tennessee. Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities to perform project installations include:
• Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
• Assembly of mounting hardware
• Attic work in homes and businesses to verify structural attachment
• Working on residential and commercial rooftops as well as installing ground-mounted systems
• Pulling inventory for specific projects
• Following layout of solar modules
• Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, methodology and safety
• Perform PV system service as required.

Minimum Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with all types of hand-held and power tools
• Team player who listens, learns, and actively communicates
• Visual thinker good at problem solving and implementing ideas
• Desire to learn and master all aspects of installing solar PV systems!
• Ability to wear and properly use PPE, including safety harnesses, hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and safety-toed boots.
• Safely climb and work from significant heights and exposed areas.
• Work in various weather conditions, which can include extreme heat, cold or wet weather.

Preferred:
• 1-2 years of construction or roofing background is preferred (but not required)
• Basic understanding/experience with electrical wiring of AC and DC systems is preferred
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification is a plus.
• Part-107 drone license is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
