Engineer/ Senior Engineer - Maintenance

About the Role
Responsible for ensuring high uptime and efficiency of solar module manufacturing equipment through effective preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. The role supports continuous production with minimal downtime and high-quality output.


Responsibilities
Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting


Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of module line machines
2.Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues


3.Ensure quick fault diagnosis and resolution to minimize downtime


Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and breakdown analysis
Solar Module Line Equipment Handling


Hands-on experience with machines such as:


1.Stringer machines


2.Layup / Bussing stations


3.Laminators


4.EL (Electroluminescence) testers


5.Framing machines


6.Junction Box (JB) fixing & curing machines


7.Flash testers


8.Ensure machine calibration, alignment, and process stability


Preventive & Predictive Maintenance


1.Plan and execute PM schedules for all equipment


2.Implement predictive maintenance to reduce unexpected failures


3,Manage critical spares inventory and ensure availability


Process Improvement & OEE


1.Work with production team to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency)


2.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns


3.Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)


4.Support continuous improvement initiatives (TPM / Lean practices)


Safety & Compliance


1.Ensure adherence to plant safety norms and SOPs


2.Maintain documentation for audits and compliance


Qualifications
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics EngineeringEngineer: 2–5 years experienceSr. Engineer: 5–8 years experienceExperience in solar module manufacturingStrong hands-on knowledge of PLC, drives, sensors, pneumatic and automation systems
