This individual will support the Energy groups many different project types while working in a team environment. Providing energy calculation support, field verification and data collection of existing building energy systems and development of energy assessment reports and studies.Responsibilities:Data CollectionUtility Bill DisaggregationField VisitsEnergy CalculationsDevelop Energy Measure Descriptions and scope of work packagesWork with design teamSupport construction and SalesAbility to work on and prioritize multiple projectsCollaboration with Project Managers and other EngineersDevelopment of measurement & verification (M&V) plansProduce annual M&V reportsQA/QCQualifications:0 to 3 years of relevant experience in technical areas (i.e., lighting, HVAC, solar, other renewables).Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field is ideal.Certified Energy Manager in Training (CEM IT) or other industry related certifications a plus.Experience with Microsoft Office software required.Building modeling experience, a plus.Hands on HVAC and commissioning/retro-commissioning a plus.Ability to complete multiple tasks on multiple projects.QA/QC of your own assigned tasks and projects.Ability to support construction activities during implementation.Experience working on energy audits and or energy related construction projects a huge plus.Ability to collaborate with internal staff and clients.Some Travel is required (around 10%).What we offer:Employee-focused company culture and work environment.Work-life balance including:Hybrid work policyFlexible workGreat benefits including:Medical, dental, and vision401k matchPTOLife insuranceHSA and FSA options.Career advancement opportunities with Career and Professional Development.
