East Coast Power Grid Development Engineer

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer for their national substation team in Owings Mills, MD. The role involves leading complex substation projects, developing design drawings, and conducting engineering studies. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Professional Engineer licensure, and 6-10+ years of relevant experience. As a Sr. Project Engineer on our national substation team, you will play a key role in shaping the physical engineering of our nation's power grid.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal multidiscipline teams to lead complex substation projects from estimating to project completion.
• Develop and review physical design drawings, including General Arrangement, Elevations, and equipment connection Details.
• Conduct studies and calculations to properly design substations, including grounding calculations, lightning protection, and battery bank sizing.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer licensure and ability to obtain reciprocity in multiple states.
• 6-10+ years of physical substation engineering experience related to electrical power substation design for Coops, Municipalities, and/or IOUs.
