EIA-NABET SECTOR APPROVED COORDINATOR

ENVISION ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES is seeking an EIA-NABET Sector Approved Coordinator in Surat, India. This part-time role involves leading Environmental Impact Assessment studies, managing EIA assignments, and coordinating expert teams. Responsibilities include data collection, impact prediction, and ensuring compliance with NABET regulations. Candidates should have strong EIA expertise, knowledge of environmental regulations, and a postgraduate degree in a related field. On-site presence and occasional field visits are required.
Role Overview:
You will be joining ENVISION ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES as an EIA-NABET Sector Approved Coordinator based in Surat, India. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessment studies and compliance activities for designated sectors. This part-time role involves planning and managing EIA assignments, working closely with project proponents, and coordinating multidisciplinary expert teams to produce high-quality reports. Your role will also include overseeing baseline data collection, impact prediction, mitigation planning, and ensuring alignment with NABET and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessment studies and compliance activities for designated sectors
- Plan and manage EIA assignments, liaise with project proponents, and coordinate multidisciplinary expert teams
- Oversee baseline data collection, impact prediction, and mitigation planning
- Prepare and review EIA/EMP reports, presentations for regulatory authorities, and documentation for environmental clearances and CRZ matters
- Stay current with environmental regulations, contribute to internal quality systems, support client meetings and public hearings
- Mentor junior team members as required

Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in EIA processes, including scoping, baseline data interpretation, and impact assessment following NABET guidelines
- Solid knowledge of environmental regulations, EIA Notification, CRZ rules, and statutory requirements for clearances and consents at central and state levels
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines, and interfacing professionally with clients, regulators, and stakeholders
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and presentation skills for preparing regulatory submissions, technical reports, and hearing presentations
- Proficiency in standard office software; familiarity with environmental modeling tools, GIS, or data analysis software is an advantage
- Postgraduate degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline; valid NABET EIA Sector Coordinator accreditation in relevant sectors is highly desirable
- Ability to work on-site in Surat, conduct occasional field visits, maintain high ethical standards, and demonstrate a commitment to sustainability and circular economy principles Role Overview:
