Rockland Trust expects its Relationship Bankers to focus on creating and maintaining strong connections that enhance the banking experience for customers and team members. In this role, you will apply your specific abilities to cultivate relationships with our client base, address their financial requirements, execute transactions effectively, and propose relevant products or services.

What You'll Do:
Engage in consultative discussions with valued clients to establish trust and expand relationships, ensuring they rely on you to find solutions for their financial needs.Work independently and alongside team members to ensure high levels of customer engagement and capitalize on sales opportunities, while also finding innovative financial solutions for customers.Perform standard customer transactions accurately and in a professional manner under predefined rules and authorizations, which involve tasks like check cashing, deposit processing, and withdrawal facilitation for personal and business clients.Assist with standard and complex inquiries on customer accounts, merchandise, amenities, guidelines, and practices; address customer difficulties and see them through to resolution.Create innovative customer connections by initiating daily digital communications to ensure a cohesive customer journey across all platforms, traditional or digital.Generate a sense of anticipation and energy among staff for upcoming events by acting as a mentor and coach.Use a customer-centric approach to proactively offer and cross-sell bank deposit and loan products and services to both new and established clients.Use technology effectively, combined with internal and external digital channels, to attend to customers and advance customer relationships.Make decisions on loan applications, including Home Equity, based on adherence to laws and regulations.Build and maintain effective rapport, with both clients and colleagues.Utilize Salesforce to facilitate customer interactions, dialogues, and follow-up actions effectively.Assist the Branch Manager in creating and maintaining a culture that promotes effective lobby management and proactive customer engagement, seeking to improve the overall customer experience within and outside the branch.Follow operational, regulatory, and security procedures diligently while managing customer interactions to mitigate risks to the Bank.Be willing to shoulder extra duties and obligations as required.Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in sales and service gained through 2-4 years of experience in sectors like retail, hospitality, or financial services or a bachelor's degree is a prerequisite.Being NMLS certified and a Notary Public is a must.Exceptional communication aptitude across verbal, written, and interpersonal channels.Well-versed in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to navigate through different types of equipment and mobile devices.Possessing top-notch organizational skills, with a strong emphasis on precision and attention to detail.Exhibiting a resilient sales orientation paired with the skill to prioritize tasks effectively and customize strategies to suit diverse situations.Having the ability to work intuitively and devise inventive solutions when faced with challenges is valuable.Adept at fulfilling customary office requirements, including extended periods of standing in both indoor and outdoor branch environments, while maintaining ongoing customer interactions.Competence in bearing and moving objects that are 50 pounds or less in weight.Displaying a willingness and capability to adjust to a flexible work schedule that may entail weekends, as dictated by customer demands.Proving competence in successfully concluding our training program.About:
