Contract and Claims Manager

Fluence is seeking a Contract and Claims Manager in Manila with a BS/BA in engineering and at least 5 years of experience in claims negotiation for construction projects. The role requires knowledge of construction program management, financial performance, and strong interpersonal skills. The position involves 30% travel and is classified as hybrid, indicating some in-office presence is required.

RequirementsBS/BA in an engineering discipline (Electrical Preferred). Specialized experience in claims negotiation for engineering / construction projects. Minimum of 5 years of dispute resolute and claims within the vertical construction industry experience.Demonstrated knowledge of construction program management (i.e., budgeting, job costing, procurement and contract management).Understanding of accounting practices required for financial performance of a construction project.At least 5 years of experience in contract claims advisory roles with a substantial knowledge of construction contracts. Ability to solve complex contractual and technical problems and communicate results.Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to interface with a strong customer mindset.Preferably at least 5 years negotiating construction project claims.Demonstrated ability working in a matrixed and global organization. Knowledge of applicable local standards, codes and regulations in Asia (preferred) Required travel: 30%.
