Earth Advantage is seeking a Climate Justice Program Coordinator in Portland, OR, for a full-time, limited-duration role until the end of 2026. The coordinator will support a heat pump installation program for vulnerable populations, coordinating project delivery and ensuring effective communication with partners. Required qualifications include project management experience and a commitment to environmental justice. Compensation ranges from $28.71 to $31.47 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.
Climate Justice Program Coordinator Reports to: Climate Justice Program Manager | Hybrid - Oregon, Portland-Metro | Full-time, non-exempt | Applications received by 06/23/2025 will be prioritized | Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. About Earth Advantage You have a passion for environmental justice and climate resiliency, and are deeply motivated to address heat inequity within the City of Portland. Your professional or lived experience enables you to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. You are well organized and detail oriented and can adapt quickly to new systems and software. Note: This is a limited-duration position that will be active until the end of 2026. Role Description Support the delivery of a heat pump installation program that serves vulnerable populations (people experiencing low incomes, people experiencing disabilities, people 60+ years of age, people who live alone) within the City of Portland. Coordinate project delivery through a network of community distribution partners and provide them with regular logistical and administrative support. Participate in planning and implementation meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Track, verify, and QC installation activity via an established CRM platform. Coordinate payments to project partners in conjunction with the Earth Advantage finance team. Coordinate regular reporting on program activity. Required Qualifications Experience with the principles and best practices of project management. Experience coordinating among multiple project partners, subcontractors, and/or vendors. Experience with, and aptitude for, working collaboratively within a team. Commitment to aiding vulnerable communities. Deep commitment to Earth Advantage’s mission. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with the principles of energy efficiency and building science. Experience on projects that delivered goods or services. Experience participating on public sector-funded projects. Experience with CRM database architecture and its capability to track customer activity. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar software. Compensation $28.71/hr - $31.47/hr dependent on experience. ($59,716 -$65,457 equivalent annual compensation). Note: This range represents the compensation opportunity within this specific Earth Advantage job class. Compensation for new hires generally falls in the low to mid point of the pay range.
