Job Description
Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a Class A Driver for its Knoxville, TN facility. The role involves hauling shreds using a walking floor trailer, with typical hours from Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 4 pm. Candidates must meet FMCSA requirements, maintain clean equipment, and be capable of lifting 50 lbs. Benefits include health insurance and paid time off. Prior driving experience is preferred.

Job Summary:
Liberty Tire Recycling is looking for a Truck Driver Class A Route Driver. As a Class A Route Driver, you will be hauling shreds and utilizing a walking floor trailer at our Knoxville TN. facility. The typical hours for this position are Monday through Friday 5:30am - 4pm with an occasional half day on Saturday.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must meet all FMCSA driver qualification requirementsPerform routine inspections on assigned equipment and report defects to dispatch through the completion of DVIR's; maintain clean, safe equipment.Utilizing a walking floor trailerWillingness to work in various weather conditions.Maintain documents per DOT guidelines, ELD compliant.Attend monthly Transportation Safety Meetings.Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.Skills and Abilities:
22 years of age with a Class A CDLMust have and maintain acceptable MVR in compliance with DOTMust pass post-offer background, DOT physical and drug testEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors and the public.Must be willing to always be professional at our tire storesWork independently with general instructions.Ability to life 50 poundsEducation and Experience:
Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent Class A CDL driving experienceBenefits:
