Montana State University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Environmental Microbiology in Bozeman, MT. Duties And Responsibilities
The position is 45% research, 45% teaching, and 10% service. The new hire will be responsible for developing and obtaining extramural research funding for a nationally competitive, independent research program that will significantly contribute to understanding environmental microbiology. The faculty member will participate in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students. The faculty member will also be responsible for providing services as applicable to the department, college, university, and scientific community.
