Analytical Scientist

Talascend is hiring an Analytical Scientist in Blair, NE. The role requires a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Food Services, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include analyzing raw materials, validating shipments, and supporting organizational communication. The Chemist will also troubleshoot processes and train new employees on Quality Assurance systems and analytical methods. This is a full-time position.
About the Position:
Talascend is seeking a skilled and professional individual to fill the position of Chemist at our Blair, NE location.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or Food Services and 1-3 years of experience in a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing raw material samples, validating and approving raw material shipments, and communicating analytical support to all levels of the organization.

The Chemist will also be involved in making process adjustment decisions, troubleshooting process upsets, and managing resources to resolve them. They will be required to train new employees on Quality Assurance systems, analytical methods, and instruments.
