Zero Waste Program Intern

ICLEI USA is seeking a Variable Zero Waste Program Intern in Arvada, CO, to support the Municipal Zero Waste Program. Responsibilities include employee education, coordinating meetings, and assisting with zero waste events. The position is part-time (15 hours/week) for approximately 6 months, with a pay rate of $22/hour. The intern must work in-office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and attend occasional evening and weekend events.

The main focus will be creating and deploying employee education and training and materials, coordinating meetings with internal staff, and occasionally helping with zero waste events.This is not a remote, work from home position. Intern must have access to reliable method of transport. Workdays would be Tuesday and Wednesday in office at 470 S Allison Pkwy Lakewood. Willingness to staff and assist at occasional evening and weekend events is preferred.The duration of this internship is roughly 6 months at 15 hours a week.The City of Lakewood is currently recruiting variable employees for this position.
