Summary
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Yard Shunter Loader to join our busy logistics operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced yard professional to play a key role in supporting our warehouse and loading teams.
The Role
Working within a fast-paced logistics environment, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers throughout the yard, ensuring loading and unloading operations run smoothly and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities

Moving trailers safely around a busy yard.
Carrying out trailer changes and trailer swaps as required.
Positioning vehicles accurately onto warehouse loading bays for loading and unloading.
Setting and monitoring trailer temperature regimes in line with operational requirements.
Liaising closely with warehouse and transport teams to support daily operations.
Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance at all times.

Full shunter training will be provided for the right candidate.
About You The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and operational efficiency.
Experience:

[Essential] Valid UK Car License
[Desirable] Experience driving large vehicles such as vans, 7.5T trucks, agricultural vehicles, plant machinery, or similar equipment
[Desirable] A good understanding of the safety processes and responsibilities involved in operating large vehicles.
[Essential] Ability to work efficiently and safely in a busy yard environment.
[Essential] Strong communication and organisational skills.
[Essential] A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
