Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience, with management experience preferred. A Class A Oklahoma Wastewater Operator License is desired. The position is on-site and involves leading a team of 78 employees.

The Project Director at OKC will work with a talented team of supervisors and managers and be responsible for administering and overseeing all aspects of management, operation, and maintenance activities for facilities, operating under multiple facilities and contracts. Must have experience in Operations Wastewater Treatment plants.
Holding a Class A Oklahoma Wastewater Operator License is desired or ability to obtain one through test or reciprocity within a year. The full team compliment is 78 employees, which are operators, mechanics, lab technicians, I&C technicians and industrial pre-treatment staff. Working with this award-winning group the Director and team are responsible for four facilities totally 111MGD capacity.
Responsibilities:
Formulates project goals, strategies, and SOPS. Directs implementation of approved changes. Responsible to achieve growth targets through the management of new business development activities and contract negotiations, as well as securing renewals and scope expansion.Manages teams related to hiring, on-boarding, performance management, utilization, training, development, salary, promotions, transfers and terminations. Coaches individual and team performance and improvement.Maintains contract compliance and account management. Meets with client representatives to discuss facility operations, maintenance and capital projects as required.Prepares and administers annual operating and capital budget. Composes reports for the assigned area as required.Ensures that all SOPs are followed and DOT, OSHA, Healthy and Safety and other requirements are met. Conducts routine facility inspections. Interacts with regulators as required.Responsible for financial performance of the project, including client invoicing, account payables/receivables.Ability to coordinate project activities within Company processes and programs.Resides within 45mins travel time preferredOther duties as assigned.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or 10+ years related experience. Five years of management experience working with medium to large size treatment facilities and teams. Class A Oklahoma Wastewater Operator License is desired or ability to obtain one through test or reciprocity within a year.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License.
Technical: Knowledge of wastewater facilities. Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, DOT regulations, Utility SOPs, etc. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. Ability to interpret analytical results.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to: lift 30-50 pounds; load, unload & move large equipment/tools; access confined spaces; continuously walk and climb stairs and ladder.
