Venue Sustainability

Live Nation Entertainment is hiring Zero Waste Coordinators for their Sustainability Team in Saratoga Springs, NY. This part-time, seasonal role involves sorting and recycling waste during events, engaging employees and fans in sustainability efforts, and requires physical activity. Candidates should have a positive attitude, teamwork skills, and preferably experience with zero waste events. The position offers $18–20 per hour, with hours varying based on the event schedule.
THE JOB

We are currently seeking Zero Waste Coordinators (Sustainability Team) to help us take our sustainability programs to the next level and reach our company-wide goals for 2024. This role is the backbone and driving force for helping us become zero waste through sorting and educating others. This position will partner with the Venue Sustainability Manager as well as the Zero Waste Supervisors as part of our Sustainability Team. This is a seasonal, part-time position for show days. Hours per week will vary depending on show schedule and business.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Assist in the sorting, recycling, and composting of waste materials during and after the event.
• Participate in the post-show sorting process of all recycling, composting, and landfill materials from the venue.
• Assist in employee engagement in order to help them understand their role in achieving the venue’s sustainability goals.
• Engage fans and encourage them to participate in our sustainability programs through activities or education.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Position requires about 90% of the time spent walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ with about 65% of that time spent sorting materials.
• Dedication to participate in something that will have a real and immediate impact to the cause.
