The Urban Planner is responsible for preparing land-use plans, zoning layouts, and development proposals that support orderly, efficient, and sustainable urban growth


This includes analyzing existing land uses and proposing future development strategies that balance social, economic, and environmental needs The role involves conducting detailed site analysis, feasibility studies, and environmental, social, and infrastructure impact assessments to inform planning decisions The Urban Planner reviews development applications to ensure compliance with approved planning policies, zoning regulations, and statutory requirements


Close coordination with government agencies, technical consultants, and local communities is essential to align development initiatives with regulatory frameworks and stakeholder expectations The role also includes developing urban design guidelines, planning reports, and policy documents that provide clear direction for development control and implementation
